CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Caring for your Nanotek PPF is easy. Simply follow the steps below:

  1. After film installation, wait one week before washing, waxing or driving your vehicle on the motorway or in rain, to help ensure proper adhesion of the film has been achieved.
  2. If a high pressure washer is used, it should be kept at least 60cm away from the edge of the film. Edge peeling off as a result of high pressure washing will not be covered under the warranty.
  3. Keep your vehicle clean and wash it at least once every 2 weeks and immediately after a rain.
  4. Avoid dry dusting of your vehicle. This can result in deterioration of the self-healing ability of the film.
  5. Grime build up on edges should be cleaned periodically using a clay bar.
  6. A wax or spray sealant recommended by the installer should be applied at least every 3 months.
  7. Use waxes that do not contain dyes, abrasive polishes and/or rubbing compounds.
  8. Do not use automatic or commercial car washes.
  9. After waxing your car, you can remove any wax build-up along film edges with a lint-free cloth.
  10. Nanotek PPF can be polished if it starts to appear a bit dull due to weathering. Visit your Nanotek certified installer if this happens.
  11. Follow the maintenance schedule given by your installer.
